Project : Light Revolution
MDJ Design Limited recently collaborated with Light Revolution, a UK-based photographic and lighting company, on an innovative design and build project. Initiated when Patrick Llewellyn of Light Revolution presented MDJ with sketches and photographs of a prototype lighting apparatus, the project emphasized the significance of cost-effective manufacturing. MDJ specializes in employing Design for Manufacture (DFM) techniques to streamline production costs and enhance operational efficiency. In some instances, we even go a step further by re-designing to optimize manufacturability and reduce expenses. This partnership has resulted in a remarkable achievement. MDJ and Light Revolution now share a profound appreciation for the benefits of DFM. Together, we've crafted a unique synergy that recognizes the transformative potential of this approach. Presently, we're in the process of developing a new iteration of the Light Revolution, once again leveraging DFM methodologies. Anticipate the creation of yet another exceptional product, a testament to our shared commitment to innovation and efficiency.
Project : Ensuite Solutions Limited
Once again, our exceptional design and manufacturing team has delivered! Steve Cheeseman, representing Ensuite Solutions Ltd in the UK, graced our factory with a visionary sketch for an adjustable elbow joint, destined to intergrate new shower plumbing with old plumbing. With precision and expertise, our team transformed these sketches into CAD models and detailed drawings, culminating in a workable prototype.
The very next day, Steve returned, placing an order for an impressive 545 units, all needing to be meticulously chrome plated and polished to perfection. Over the course of 8 weeks, we dedicated ourselves to crafting these sets. This substantial order marked a significant milestone for both MDJ and Ensuite Solutions, as it enabled them to not only meet but exceed their contract requirements, delivering exceptional results on time and within budget. This success story is a testament to the seamless synergy between our teams and the visionary approach that drives our partnerships forward."

Project: Fly Fishing Reel for Mr W.
Mr W. visited MDJ with a hand crafted prototype fly fishing reel and wanted help turning it into a fully functional high-finish appearance prototype for marketing purposes and approaching investors .The team at MDJ Design Limited has once again demonstrated our ability to deliver amazing results. Over a period of 3 weeks we had finished design and started manufacturing and ended up with a fantastic and reliable product that Mr W. was extremely pleased with.
